Outside the Box

Wonderful artists sometimes travel through our neighborhood when we’re not able to host a show. We are occasionally able to support these tours by offering a smaller, more intimate gathering here at Lakeside Music. These smaller shows are often on a weeknight, the suggested donation varies depending on show format, will sometimes include drinks and snacks, and are occasionally private parties. Limited invitations are sent for these shows.

  Bel Canto Duo was founded in 2016 by looping artist & cellist, David Downing, and multi-instrumentalist, Darci Gamerl. 

Bel Canto Duo's  mission is to create meaningful community & connection through their evocative, cross-genre  classical crossover music. Their compositions combine lyrical, poignant lines with healing music techniques - creating a rich orchestral-inspired sound.

It's not often that two terrific artists find the time to grab a gig or two together, but that’s just what’s happening with this collaboration.     

Daniele Neihoff, whose compelling and soulful melodies complement his ability to tell a great story, joins forces with Ryan Biter, known for his sharp insight, playful irreverence and delightful musicianship, for an evening you won’t want to miss.

Jeremy Facknitz  performs music with folk-rock and jazz stylings to showcase intimate stories of life, love, and self-discovery.

Facknitz’ songwriting style epitomizes the strength of such greats as Jim Croce and Gordon Lightfoot, and an appreciation for melody and structure that might make Elvis Costello feel as though the torch had been passed.
